Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. Deliver high-quality clinical support while adhering to safety and protocol standards to facilitate effective treatments and patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions pre- and post-procedure to ensure stability and readiness for intervention.
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting procedures performed in the unit.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as Phillips Flouro and Mac Lab/Meditech systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care instructions, and health management plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, vitals, and patient responses within EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold active Kansas RN license with a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac procedures including angioplasty and stenting.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Prefer candidates with Mac Lab and Meditech experience.
• Show strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
