Job Summary:
The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Clinical Lab Scientist plays a vital role in performing a wide range of laboratory tests to assist in diagnosing and monitoring various health conditions. This position requires accurate reporting, adherence to safety protocols, and contributing to laboratory operations under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex laboratory tests in hematology, immunohematology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, chemistry, and therapeutic drug monitoring following established protocols.
• Perform phlebotomies, including arterial, capillary, and venipuncture procedures, applying age-specific techniques.
• Calibrate, standardize, and maintain laboratory instruments ensuring proper functionality.
• Analyze specimens, validate results, and report findings accurately and promptly.
• Assist in updating and developing laboratory policies and procedural manuals.
• Support quality assurance programs and participate in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification or registry eligibility as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of laboratory principles, procedures, and equipment.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Show ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
