Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide high-quality care for critically ill neonates. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize advanced equipment such as GE monitors, Medfusion pumps, and Giraffe Isolettes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech.
• Educate families on neonatal care, procedures, and ongoing health management.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress codes, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience, preferably Level 3 NICU.
• Proven ability to handle high-acuity neonatal cases with compassion and precision.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems like CPN and Meditech.
• Must have BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
