Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have NICU experience and proficiency with advanced respiratory equipment to support adult and neonatal patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP.
• Manage and operate ventilators such as Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 to support patient ventilation needs.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting findings accurately in Meditech.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including certifications and safety procedures.
• Float to different units as required, ensuring high-quality respiratory support across departments.

Qualifications:

• Valid RRT credential with at least 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
• NICU experience is required; previous work with neonatal ventilation preferred.
• Proficiency with advanced respiratory equipment, including Hamilton C1 and V60 ventilators.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications; ability to obtain certifications after hire is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work 3-12 hour shifts, including every other weekend.
