Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure optimal respiratory care and support patient recovery through various treatments and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies including nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, and ventilators.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as blood gas analyzers and ventilators.
• Document patient interventions and progress in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient respiratory care plans.
• Comply with safety protocols, including current BLS and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Possess a valid VA State License.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Be proficient in handling oxygen therapy, ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP, and blood gas analysis.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment.
