Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy assessments and treatments to patients in an outpatient setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans aimed at improving patient function and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients’ needs and establish measurable goals.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient input.
• Perform occupational therapy techniques and physical modalities appropriate to diagnoses.
• Document progress, treatment outcomes, and communicate updates to physicians and insurance providers.
• Reassess and modify treatment plans at least every six weeks to ensure optimal patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and licensed as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Experience in outpatient and hand therapy preferred.
• Hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Possess the ability to motivate patients and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
