Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical inpatients, including orthopedics, neuro-surgical, and level 1 trauma patients. Ensure patient safety and high-quality care while promoting a positive patient experience through effective pain management and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and document clinical observations accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure safety standards.
• Perform proactive rounding and bedside hand-offs to enhance communication and patient engagement.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably with orthopedic, neurological, or trauma units.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain current CPR and BLS certifications.
