Job Summary:

Provide skilled nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to treatment plans through clinical expertise and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop personalized care plans based on medical orders and assessments.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with facility protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring swift and appropriate intervention.
• Float between units and campuses as needed, maintaining flexibility and competency across departments.
• Comply with all hospital policies, including safety, infection control, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner or similar EHR systems.
• Maintain current BLS (and ACLS if required) certifications; renewals must be completed prior to assignment.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Be willing to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00) and participate in holiday rotations as required.
