Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes throughout the operative process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and medical staff during various surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthetic levels, adjusting as needed during surgery.
• Document all relevant patient information, procedures, and observations accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on postoperative care, recovery expectations, and self-care instructions.
• Maintain operating room sterility, manage surgical instruments and equipment, and ensure readiness of supplies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proven ability to assist with diverse surgical procedures within the Operating Room setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Preferred: Certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) or equivalent.
