Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong CVOR expertise to support cardiac and vascular cases in a high-volume acute care facility. The candidate will assist in cardiovascular surgeries and be adaptable to perform other procedures as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgeries, ensuring sterile technique and procedural accuracy.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly throughout procedures.
• Assist in the set-up and breakdown of surgical cases, including equipment sterilization and cleanup.
• Support other cases when CVOR cases are not scheduled, demonstrating flexibility within scope.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential; NBSTSA or NCCT preferred.
• Possess at least 1.5 years (18 months) of cardiac OR experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Demonstrate strong vascular and CVOR case experience.
• Be able to work day shifts with flexible call requirements, including weekend shifts.
• Maintain active state license (if applicable) and valid BLS certification.
• Be nicotine-free and able to pass required pre-employment drug screens.
