Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries. Assist in perioperative processes, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and functioning properly.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to surgical complications during procedures.
• Assist with sterile techniques and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of CVOR experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative nursing.
• Possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to work variable shifts including on-call rotations, holidays, and weekends.
