Job Summary:
Seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Operating Room at Alaska Regional Hospital. The role involves supporting orthopedic, neuro, and robotic cases with a focus on total joint replacements and spinal fusions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring proper instrument and equipment management.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Da Vinci Xi Robotic systems and spinal fusion surgeries.
• Maintain sterile field and uphold infection control standards.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, including RNs and other techs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, unit guidelines, and shift schedules, including on-call duties.
• Document procedures accurately in the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certified through NBSTSA.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, specifically with total joints and robotic surgeries.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic and neuro procedures, including multi-level spine fusions.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call shifts, in a fast-paced environment.
