Job Details

Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical unit, supporting various surgical procedures including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology. Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout all stages of surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for scheduled procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team members during surgeries, maintaining sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Document all clinical care, observations, and patient responses accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper sterilization of equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and facilitate efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent OR experience within a specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification; AHA ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology cases.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 surgical environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working with advanced surgical technology and equipment.
