Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor anesthesia and sedatives as directed by anesthesia providers.
• Assist in preparing operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures.
• Observe and assess patient vitals and status during surgery, responding to any abnormalities.
• Document patient care, surgical activities, and pertinent information accurately.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license for GA or a Compact state.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent OR or perioperative nursing experience.
• Demonstrate ability to handle complex surgical cases with attention to detail.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
