Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver quality care aligned with hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in compliance with protocols.
• Maintain sterile environment and manage surgical equipment.
• Educate patients pre- and post-operation regarding procedures and recovery.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience within the specialty.
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Obtain ACLS certification prior to start.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Able to work extended hours, including early mornings and long shifts.
