Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Ensure patient safety and comfort while assisting surgical teams throughout complex surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff with procedures, including positioning patients and managing instruments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
• Document patient care and surgical activities accurately.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies and facilitate patient stability.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current state registration.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in robotic, neuro, orthopedic, plastic, and gynecological surgeries.
• Obtain and maintain AHA BLS certification.
• Have preferred ACLS certification.
• Be able to work varied shifts, including evenings and nights.
