Job Summary:

Assist surgeons and medical professionals in operating rooms by preparing patients, rooms, and equipment for a variety of surgical procedures. Support the surgical team throughout operations, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for surgical procedures in accordance with protocols.
• Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are accounted for and properly sterilized.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork using EPIC CPSI system.
• Uphold infection control standards and safety procedures throughout all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of CST experience in surgical settings.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA is required.
• Must have current BLS certification.
• Experience in orthopedic, OB-GYN, or general surgery is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
