Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Mother Baby / Postpartum care for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will deliver compassionate patient care on a 26-bed unit, supporting new mothers and infants with a variety of clinical procedures and education.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to postpartum mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Perform procedures such as circumcisions and assess neonatal health.
• Educate new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health management.
• Document patient care activities accurately within electronic medical records (Meditech / CPN).
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and charge nurses to maintain optimal patient ratios.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and best practices for postpartum care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent Mother/Baby hospital experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in postpartum and neonatal patient care procedures.
• Possess BLS certification; NRP and lactation experience preferred.
• Show excellent communication, compassionate demeanor, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and work in a fast-paced environment.
