Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns in a dynamic hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer postpartum and neonatal care following hospital protocols.
• Educate new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health needs.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes promptly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans.
• Document care accurately in the EMR system.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to support families.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with at least 1 year of recent Mother/Baby acute care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in postpartum and neonatal procedures.
• Possess BLS certification; NRP preferred.
• Have lactation consultation or transitions experience (preferred).
• Exhibit compassionate, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor.
