Job Summary:


Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel assignment in the postpartum unit. The RN will provide specialized maternal and neonatal care, supporting new mothers and their babies during their hospital stay.


Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage perineal care for postpartum patients.
  
• Educate parents on newborn care, safety, security, and bonding practices.
  
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
  
• Adapt quickly to unit policies, procedures, and equipment to maintain optimal standards.
  
• Document patient information accurately using EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a current RN license with at least 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience.
  
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1-year experience in postpartum or mother-baby units.
  
• Possess BLS certification; NRP preferred.
  
• Exhibit flexibility in scheduling and the ability to adapt to new clinical environments.
  
• Show strong communication skills, compassion, and teamwork qualities.
