Job Summary:


A Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and developing rehabilitation plans for patients in an inpatient hospital setting. The role requires delivering high-quality therapy to enhance patient recovery and functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individualized treatment plans.
  
• Perform therapeutic procedures and interventions based on patient needs and clinical protocols.
  
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately within the electronic health record system.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and co-treatments with OT staff, to optimize patient care.
  
• Prioritize caseload and manage treatment schedules efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital policies.
  
• Adhere to hospital guidelines, safety protocols, and maintain proper attire, such as scrubs.
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a valid NH Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient PT experience.
  
• Demonstrate strong assessment skills and the ability to perform evaluations and treatments effectively.
  
• Proficient in using Meditech Expanse or similar documentation systems.
  
• BLS certification is required prior to deployment.
  
• Experienced with inpatient equipment and familiar with hospital policies and procedures.
