Job Summary:
Provides specialized telemetry nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs to detect any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, and medication management.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and escalate concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience working in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and protocols.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to function effectively in high-pressure scenarios.
