Job Summary:

Provides specialized telemetry nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through diligent assessment and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and identify abnormal patterns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about their condition and post-discharge care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, including code scenarios.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license in the relevant state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry or cardiac care units.
• proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment and EKG interpretation.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
