Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients in a stepdown or telemetry unit, focusing on patient stabilization and recovery. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, continuous patient monitoring and support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical status regularly.
• Document patient data and care activities accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with 2+ years of stepdown or telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient monitoring equipment and clinical procedures.
• Possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Maintain current certifications, such as BLS and ACLS.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
