Job Summary:
Provides compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit. Responsible for delivering direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Assist physicians and RNs with procedures and patient assessments.
• Educate patients and their families about post-discharge care and treatment plans.
• Document patient information clearly and comprehensively in EMR systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and IV skills preferred.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
