Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, and Neuro Unit specializing in Ortho and Neuro patient care. The role involves providing high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, and Neuro patients.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system effectively within the last 6 months.
• Monitor telemetry data from a centralized unit to ensure patient stability.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Technicians, Transporters, and Float nurses to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Adhere to required certifications including BLS and NIHSS.
• Maintain compliance with travel and placement guidelines, including 50-mile radius residency rule.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of clinical ervaring.
• Demonstrate recent EPIC EMR proficiency, preferably within the last 6 months.
• Possess BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience in Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, and Neuro units.
• Able to work night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with flexibility for floating to comparable units.
• Must meet travel compliance criteria, including distance residency requirements.
