Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care services for adult and geriatric patients. The role involves managing airway procedures, medication administration, and ventilator support in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, including aerosolized medication delivery, tracheostomy care, and pulmonary hygiene.
• Perform airway management procedures such as extubation, nasal airway placements, and suctioning.
• Troubleshoot and manage mechanical ventilation systems, including BiPaP, CPAP, and high flow oxygen therapy.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and adhere to safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and adjust respiratory support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RRT credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience.
• Proficient in adult ICU clinical skills, including ventilator management and airway procedures.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with aerosol setups, nebulizers, and advanced oxygen therapies.
• Ability to float between units and demonstrate documented competencies.
