Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography for a 59-day union assignment. The candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, with a focus on CT scans, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
• Inject contrast media in accordance with NYS licensing requirements and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements per ARRT standards to maintain certification.
• Complete all assigned modules during orientation using NYP's Workday system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Possess valid NYS Radiography license and certification to inject contrast media.
• Certified by ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
• Maintain ongoing CE credits as per ARRT requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, with recent CT experience preferred.
