Job Summary:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT technology to assist in medical diagnoses, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. Provide accurate imaging services while adhering to equipment and safety protocols in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Assess patient condition and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Follow prescribed protocols and safety standards, including proper charting in EPIC.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with radiology team and physicians to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Radiology program (required).
• NY State License in Radiologic Technology (required).
• ARRT certification in CT (required).
• 2-3 years of relevant CT imaging experience.
• Proficient in EPIC charting software, with preferred experience in reflection of imaging procedures.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA (required).
