Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and supporting surgical teams to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by sterilizing instruments and arranging sterile supplies.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by anticipating needs and providing necessary instruments.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques throughout the surgical process.
• Ensure proper documentation of equipment and supplies used during surgeries.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care in collaboration with nursing staff.

Qualifications:

• Strongly prefer candidates with at least 2 years of OR tech experience in a surgical setting.
• Hold a current NBSTSA and/or NCCT certification.
• Possess a valid BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures and instrument handling.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs and accommodate block schedules.
