Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Operating Room position at a busy facility. The role involves providing perioperative care for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team with procedures and equipment setup.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative emergencies.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EMR.
• Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call hours.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and high-energy motivated personality.
• Familiarity with MEDITECH EMR system.
