Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room for patients undergoing neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, general, and robotic surgeries. Ensure patient safety, assist surgical teams, and adhere to clinical protocols throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and maintain the sterile field.
• Administer patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures with precision.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to any changes in condition.
• Document all nursing activities and surgical events accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including drug screening and lab completion requirements.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup for neuro, spine, ortho, trauma, and general surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with in-hand documentation submitted prior to assignment.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in OR nursing, specifically in neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, or general/robotics surgeries.
• Demonstrate experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures.
• Be adaptable to 5x8 day shifts, with call and late days as needed.
• Exhibit proficiency in charting, ideally with Altera experience preferred.
• Be compliant with travel and local radius policies, operating within specified distance limits.
