Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in a busy hospital setting. The role involves managing adult patients, performing assessments, and operating various respiratory support equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced respiratory care treatments, including mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, and medical gas therapy.
• Analyze patient needs, prioritize interventions, and modify care plans according to protocols or physician orders.
• Initiate, troubleshoot, and wean patients from respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assess, educate, and collaborate with staff, physicians, and patients regarding treatment plans and disease management.
• Complete required clinical competencies and maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio Respiratory Care License and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• Possess a minimum of two years of critical care experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, equipment management, and respiratory procedures.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
• Display excellent communication skills and the ability to educate staff, patients, and families effectively.
