Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical/Tele RN is responsible for providing patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a short-term acute care hospital setting. This role requires delivering high-quality nursing services adhering to facility policies and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage related interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Complete all assigned modules and attend staff meetings to ensure compliance and ongoing education.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting and ensure all documentation is current and complete.
• Adhere to facility policies, including on-call and float requirements, while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Possess at least 2 years of previous Med/Surg and Telemetry experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Successfully complete all required modules prior to the start date.
