Job Summary:
The Cath Lab/EP Technologist is responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within the catheterization laboratory. They ensure the proper operation of equipment, patient safety, and quality control throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up cath lab equipment and sterile field for procedures.
• Assist physicians during catheterization, electrophysiology, and other cardiology interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities during procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation of procedures and patient data.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
• Possess previous experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology lab setting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile techniques, and imaging equipment.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Maintain current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Be licensed or certification-eligible per state and industry standards.
