Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures within a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory. The candidate will assist in cardiac imaging, device placements, and patient monitoring, ensuring high-quality care and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including Left and Right Heart Catheterizations and PCI procedures.
• Set up and maintain sterile equipment and environment, ensuring adherence to sterile technique protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening arrhythmias and other critical dysrhythmias during procedures.
• Support equipment setup, troubleshooting, and operation, including IABP placement/removal and device management.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC or other electronic charting systems; ensure timely and complete records.
• Float between units as needed, providing support during procedures and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT R certification; RCIS preferred if ARRT is unavailable.
• Maintain NY state license, with active registration and credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile techniques, equipment setup, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Have experience with EPIC charting and billing modules.
