Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled cardiovascular technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab/EP suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced cardiac diagnostics and treatments, ensuring high-quality patient care during complex procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including routine and complex cases.
• Set up and operate specialized equipment such as cardiac stents, closure devices, and ablation systems.
• Recognize and respond quickly to life-threatening dysrhythmias and hemodynamic changes.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist during scrub and circulating procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Assist with IABP placement/removal and interpret dysrhythmias for clinical decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of recent experience in a cardiac cath/EP lab setting.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT R credentials; RCIS certification is acceptable if ARRT is unavailable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing electrophysiology procedures, cardiac implant closures, and PCI.
• Be licensed in New York State prior to start; out-of-state candidates must hold active licensure.
• Have EPIC charting experience and familiarity with sterile procedures in a specialized cardiac environment.
