Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technician for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have specialized training, relevant certifications, and clinical experience in cardiac electrophysiology procedures and device management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with complex electrophysiology procedures, ensuring procedural accuracy and patient safety.
• Operate and maintain EP lab devices and equipment with expertise.
• Apply clinical judgment to monitor patient status and respond to emergent situations during procedures.
• Document all procedures accurately in EPIC or equivalent electronic health record systems.
• Follow all safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS guidelines, to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing training modules during orientation.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• RCES credential, IBHRE certification, or RCIS certification; RCES strongly preferred.
• Valid NY license (pending licenses and certifications not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid).
• Demonstrated experience with EP lab devices, cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical EP lab experience preferred.
