Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide quality care within a correctional facility setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing diverse patient needs in a challenging environment while adhering to strict compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive nursing care for the prisoner population.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol and physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient interactions accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuous patient care.
• Maintain strict compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Hold an active TN state license or multi-state compact license, valid and verifiable via Nursys.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI certifications required; MAB accepted in lieu of CPI.
• Comfortable working with the prison population and managing challenging clinical situations.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to complete required lab and training modules prior to start.
