Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in a inpatient setting, ensuring safety and adherence to treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient stability and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor and document patient behaviors, vital signs, and clinical status accurately.
• Utilize electronic patient rounding tools to record assessments and observations.
• Assist with special procedures and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to shift schedules and complete all required documentation promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active LVN/LPN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic health records, preferably Epic.
• Complete necessary certifications such as BLS, CPI, or equivalent from AHA or ARC.
• Be able to work variable shifts, including days and nights.
• Comply with travel and background requirements per agency policy.
