Job Summary:
A licensed LVN/LPN is needed for inpatient psychiatric units to provide comprehensive nursing care to behavioral health patients. The role involves supporting patients with various mental health diagnoses in a fast-paced, electronic charting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient symptoms in accordance with physician orders.
• Utilize electronic health records and tools such as Rover for documentation and patient updates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Observe and report patient behavioral changes, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Complete required shift documentation accurately, including vitals and food intake.
• Follow facility protocols for patient seclusion, restraint, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active LVN or LPN license with valid state registration.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Certifications: BLS, CPI or ProAct, or PMAB recognized by AHA or American Red Cross.
• Capable of working variable shifts, including days and nights, with flexibility.
• Clear background check with no DUIs or background hits.
