Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to psychiatric patients in a behavioral health setting. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses adhering to psychiatric treatment plans.
• Utilize electronic patient rounding tools to record vital signs, food intake, and patient observations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and report any concerns promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols, especially when caring for high-risk geriatric and substance abuse patients.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active LVN/LPN license recognized by the state.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health experience.
• Be proficient in electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
• Maintain current BLS, CPI, or ProAct/PMABCA certifications in hand at submission.
• Demonstrate knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses including bipolar disorder, autism spectrum, and substance abuse.
