Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled RN First Assist for an 8-week Epic Conversion contract. The role involves providing surgical assistance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the transition to Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities:

• Assist during surgical procedures as a RNFA, utilizing scrub and circulate skills.
• Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Maintain all required certifications and credentials, including CA license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Document procedures accurately and adhere to hospital and industry protocols.
• Participate in Epic and Cerner system practices, demonstrating proficiency with both platforms.

Qualifications:

• Hold current CA license and valid RN license.
• Completion of an approved didactic RNFA course and certification.
• Minimum of three years of scrub and circulate experience in an acute care environment.
• Current Professional Liability Insurance and AHA BLS, ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic and Cerner EMR systems, with at least six months of recent Epic experience.
