Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced OR RN with first assist capabilities to provide specialized surgical support in orthopedic, gynecological, general, and orthopedic total procedures. The candidate will contribute to patient care during surgeries, including circulating and scrub duties, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform first assist duties during surgical procedures to support surgeons and ensure safety.
• Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgical cases, including ortho, gyn, and general surgeries.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing coverage one night per week.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patient and equipment for procedures.
• Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with applicable certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Certification of completion of an approved didactic RNFA course.
• Minimum of three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility, with recent work within the last 3 months.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent preferred.
• Professional liability insurance and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification required.
