Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to obstetric patients during night shifts, including labor, induction, antepartum, and circulating roles in the OB-OR. This role requires clinical expertise in maternal-fetal health and the ability to manage complex obstetric cases efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to laboring and antepartum women, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, recognizing and escalating potential complications.
• Collaborate with medical teams during labor, delivery, and OB-OR procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and clinical procedures accurately within the EPIC Stork system.
• Follow all protocol guidelines, including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications, maintaining compliance and preparedness.
• Complete required orientation and assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate tests, with acceptable scores.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio or compact state nursing license at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in labor, induction, and antepartum patient management.
• Be certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE with active, current credentials.
• Be knowledgeable with EPIC Stork or similar EMR systems preferred.
• Provide two recent managerial references from the past 12 months.
