Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery unit to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care during night shifts. The role requires clinical expertise in obstetric emergencies and neonatal care to support a safe delivery environment.



Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive obstetric and neonatal nursing care to patients in labor.
  
• Monitor fetal and maternal vitals, recognizing and responding to signs of distress.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, postpartum care, and neonatal procedures.
  
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
  
• Ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, and safety protocols throughout shift.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact state RN license at the time of submission.
  
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Labor and Delivery experience.
  
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency protocols.
  
• Must have good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
