Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse - OR provides specialized perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols throughout procedures. This role involves collaboration with surgical teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery, reviewing medical histories and surgical requirements.
• Administer medications, anesthesia, and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to OR safety standards.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately in the patient's electronic health record.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure seamless operative processes.
• Assist with post-operative care and patient recovery monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and relevant operating room certification.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of OR experience in a fast-paced surgical setting.
• Be able to reliably complete required documentation and lab procedures within 72 hours of acceptance.
• Possess strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Be willing to travel and comply with all mandatory drug screening policies.
