Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Medical-Surgical unit at Centennial Medical Center. The RN will provide post-operative care and support a fast-paced environment focusing on patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer post-operative care, including wound management and dressing changes.
• Monitor and maintain patient vital signs, including Foley catheter care and IV therapy.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff regarding care plans.
• Adhere to unit policies, including prompt attendance and professional appearance.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or post-op units.
• Demonstrate excellent time management, efficiency, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with wound vacs, drains, and central line care preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:5.
