Job Summary:

Responsible for providing specialized respiratory therapy services to patients in accordance with physician orders. Ensures effective patient care through the delivery of therapeutic interventions and maintenance of respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Comply with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current Ohio RCP license and Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Pyxis.
• Possess excellent communication skills for interactions with patients and team members.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and performing physical tasks required in respiratory care.
