Job Summary:

Provide specialized nutritional care to pediatric patients in inpatient settings, focusing on children with eating disorders, surgical, or medical needs. Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement nutritional plans tailored to individual patient requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' nutritional status and develop appropriate care plans.
• Manage enteral feeding procedures, including GTube feeds and TPN administration.
• Support pediatric medical, surgical, oncology, or ICU units with nutrition support.
• Document interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to hospital and safety policies related to pediatric nutrition.

Qualifications:

• Hold an RD/RDN certification with pediatric experience in hospital settings.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric dietitian experience, including children’s hospitals.
• Demonstrate proficiency with nutrition support, GTube feeds, and TPN.
• Experience in PICU, surgery units, or pediatric medical units preferred.
• Ability to float to various pediatric units and adapt to different workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
